Masha Markova’s Mink Coat Stolen By Lindsay Lohan

What’s up with fur coats these days? It didn’t seem that long ago that people were horrified with the idea of owning a fur coat but now that so many celebrities are starting to wear them people in general are thinking differently. It seems that fur coats are so popular that Lindsay Lohan stole a mink coat from student Masha Markova.

Masha Markova claims that the coat went missing in 10ck New York and that some weeks later she saw Linday Lohan wearing it in a Paparazzi photo. Now that Masha Markova has her mink coat back she is wanting Linday Lohan to pay $10,000 rental fee for the 3 weeks she had it.

Masha Markova says that the mink coat was a gift from her grandmother and that when she received her coat back it was smelling of cigarette smoke and alcohol and even had a little tear in the lining.

Not surprisingly Masha Markova is yet to hear a reply to her request.

All I can say is that I hope people don’t start having ideas of owning their own mink coat. So many little animals are bread and killed just so people like Masha Markova and Lindsay Lohan can look trendy and fashionable.

Katie Couric Announcement

So what’s Katie Couric up to then? It seems that Matt Lauer has jokingly said that she’ll be coming back to the Today Show. Just remember that many a true word said in jest. It seems that everyone has their opinions about if she will or not but I suppose only time will tell. It just seems a little strange that Katie Couric would travel from CBS all the way over to NBC if there wasn’t some thoughts of her returning for good.

Of course, it might simply be that Katie Couric is just going back for a little retrospective thing or maybe it’s because she’s trying to spread the word about colon cancer screening.

They might just have said that Katie Couric is arriving back as a throw away comment but these things normally are never like that. Everything is thought out in advance because they know everyone on the internet will be searching for “Katie Couric”.

Kimberly Caldwell and David Cook

David Cook is doing pretty well for himself lately after winning American Idol. As if things couldn’t go any better, it seems that he’s starting to go out with Kimberly Caldwell who appeared on season two of American Idol.

“I went out on a date the other day with a woman named Kimberly Caldwell,” said 25 year old David Cook on Live with Regis and Kelly. It appears he had a really great time and he hopes to see more of Kimberly Caldwell.

Kimberly Caldwell and David Cook had dinner at Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse and David Cook was such a gentleman by opening his car door for Kimberly Caldwell after they finished their meal.

Although Kimberly Caldwell and David Cook didn’t appear on the same season of American Idol, they met because of her weekly AI coverage.

Jason Yeager to Sing National Anthem

Why do people obsess so much with these sorts of celebrities? Are they really any good and should they make their careers in a more conventional manner i.e. go through the record agencies and be spotted by talent spotters. Some people will also say that they aren’t even that good and the only reason they get voted for is because of the sympathy vote or because they look cute.

Young people think that they want to be famous because it will bring them happiness and they think everyone will like them. It seems like appearing on American Idol can give you quite a lot of extra perks that you might not have expected. For instance Jason Yeager is set to sing the National Anthem for The Grand Prairie AirHogs. Jason Yeager is a local guy so it’s really fitting that he should be bestowed with such an honor.

Despite not winning the 7th series of American Idol he’s still well remembered. If you want to see him and have him sign autographs for you then you can do this too.

However there are also American Idol contestants that have had to deal with the intrusion of their personal lives and this is not attention you can easily close a door on. All too often people enter these types of shows thinking that everyone will love them and they’ll be rich and famous but they never contemplate the fact that they might actually be disliked and be completely forgotten about.

Celebrity-wannabes are often lacking in confidence and need other people to praise them and tell them how wonderful they are. When they are on top they feel amazing but when record sales fail and they get dropped by their record company, it’s no wonder so many celebrities turn to drink and drugs.

Hopefully Jason Yeager will continue his career and has more to look forward to more exciting times along with singing the National Anthem.

Colleen McLoughlin Jets to NY for Wedding Dress

Wow, what must it be like to be rich and famous? I guess we can only get a glimpse by reading the tabloids at the life that WAGS such as Colleen McLoughlin lead. When we are living in a world so obsessed about the environment, don’t you think that it’s just a little but OTT just to jet off from the UK to NY to buy a wedding dress?

Apparetnly Colleen McLoughlin has been on a diet that has allowed her to drop a number of dress sizes and the wedding dress she already bought is too small. Oh well, I suppose she’s being paid eough money by OK! magazine to be able to afford to go jetting off to buy a new dress. But is this something that everyone should be doing? So many of us take the lead from such celebrities as Colleen McLoughlin and think it’s then OK so put so much carbon emissions into the air for the sake of a wedding.

At the end of the day, most people really don’t care about the environment, even if they do buy an Anya Hindmarch “I’m not a plastic bag” bag or buy the occasional Fair Trade chocolate. It’s just goes ot show the two-faced nature of the world and people like Colleen McLoughlin should be ashamed of themselves.

People do a lot more travelling now than ever and it used ot be that going abroad was a luxury that more people couldn’t afford. Now people in the UK seem to think that if they don’t go to Spain at least once a year they’re somehow deprived and even below the poverty line.

Although we know the financial cost of many things, I think most people have forgotten the value. For instance, Colleen McLoughlin’s range of clothing at Asda is so cheap that many would say you could buy it and wear it for just the season. When you’re bored of it you just throw it away.

What sort of example is this? What about the people who get paid peanuts just so we can look fashionable for hardly any money? What about the cost environmentally in producing and transporting these goods? I think it would be much better if we bought more expensive items that were better made and fairly traded. I know that fairly traded goods are supposed to be trendy but so is buying cheap clothes at Asda, Tesco and Primark.

Kurt Cobain’s Ashes Stolen From Courtney Love

Has Kurt Cobain’s ashes really been stolen or has Courtney Love just misplaced them. Apparently she’s kept Kurt Cobain’s ashes in a pink bag in the shape of a teddy bear where she also kept a lock of his hair. Not only were the ashes stolen but she also had many thousands of dollars worth of jewelry and clothes stolen. Because of the theft, Courtney feels suicidal.

Quite honsetly, I think that this is a terrible thing to happen but his death was about 14 years ago and she’s been going around with his ashes all this time. To me this means she needs to learn to move on. God only knows what’s going on in her head and I certainly wouldn’t want to be her shrink. It seems to me that she only really became famous for being Kurt Cobain’s wife and without him she is nothing. Now she doesn’t even has his ashes or lock of hair. I suppose it makes her wonder where she fits into society now.

Marko Jaric and Adriana Lima Engaged

Marko Jaric and Adriana Lima the news has just been released. I bet there will be a few tears shed by some teenage fans of both Marko Jaric and Adriana Lima as they are very much the pin-up couple. How perfect a couple can you get? Doesn’t it just make you sick with jealousy? What must it be like to be one of these beautiful people?

Marko Jaric is a basketball player for the Minnesota Timberwolves whilst Adriana Lima is a model for Victoria Secrets. Apparently Marko Jaric isn’t the sort of guy to fall in love easily but it was true love when he met Adriana Lima. I hope they are happy together in their perfect little lives with lots of money and beauty.

Liv Tyler’s Mom Bebe Buell

Liv Tyler was interviewed just recently about her not knowing her real father until she started asking questions as a teen. It seems that Liv Tyler’s mom Bebe Buell told Live Tyler that her father was Todd Rundgren. When Liv Tyler started asking Bebe Buell why her and Mia Tyler looked similar this is when she found out.

I know that Liv Tyler and Steven Tyler have a good relationship now but I still think it’s a pretty amazing story and can’t imagine what it must be like to find out that your dad is the lead singer for Aerosmith. That’s just all a bit strange. I don’t know if I could cope with the news.

I also feel sorry for Todd Rundgren who brought Liv Tyler up as his own daughter. Liv Tyler really hasn’t talked much about her personal family issues and I don’t blame her. Celebrities also need some privacy and we need to respect that.

We see all the time story lines similar to this in soap operas and it makes us wonder if we should always be honest about such matters right from the beginning. I think young children can deal with being told that they have another daddy elsewhere rather than finding out at a later stage. I wonder how Live feels about it.

Russell Brand and Phoebe Price Dating?

Russell Brand and Phoebe Price appear to be dating, if you believe Now magazine that is. I’m not sure if I can believe it or simply because I can’t understand any woman dating Russell Brand. However I have also seen a photo of Phoebe Price and can’t understand why anyone would want to date her either so perhaps they are well suited.

In the UK, Russell Brand became famous when he presented Big Brother’s Big Mouth which was a discussion show about Big Brother. I couldn’t stand the sight of him when I ever had the misfortune to flick over to that show. However my feelings have warmed a little since seeing him on Have I Got News For You where I found him to be pretty entertaining. Although I still don’t think Russell Brand is at all fanciable.

Since then Russell Brand has gone on to receive international fame because of the film Forgetting Sarah Marshall. In this film, Russell Brand plays a rockstar who steals Sarah away to Hawaii. I haven’t seen it but if it appears on TV I might actually watch it.

Sony Ericsson Xperia X1 Release Date

If you are wanting to get your hands on a Sony Ericsson Xperia X1 then you should know that the release date is set for some time in mid-September this year. Sorry, I can’t give you a more specific Date because seemingly the info was leaked by mistake. I’m not sure if it really was leaked or whether this is all just a marketing ploy to make the Sony Ericsson Xperia X1 seem more elusive and exciting.

Anyway, if you’re interested in the release date of the Sony Ericsson Xperia X1 then it means you are probably going to want to know more about it if you haven’t already found that out. Basically the new Sony Ericsson phone is designed for the business user who wants more than just a cell phone. It features all the things you would expect from a phone of this price range such as bluetooth, camera, mp3 player, memory card slot, gps, speaker phone, touch screen and Wi-Fi.

I don’t know if it’s just me but there seems to be a lot of different mobile phones being released all the time such as the Apple iPone G3 and the Samsung Instinct. I really don’t know if there’s much of a difference between them all and whether they are even worth the price that you pay for them. If you are prepared to pay a lot of money for one of these phones I hope you know exactly what you are buying and that you’re going to make use of it. I would hate to think that people might buy such gadgets only for them to sit about in a drawer not being used.
