How: We are asking our distinguished guests-all of whom are candidates for state office - to prepare a short presentation detailing their solutions to the crisis facing property owners-confiscatory school taxes. Subsequent questions will reflect the mission statement of taxnightmare.org (a non-partisan grass roots citizen's group) " schools should not befunded by property taxes" and the widely acknowledged expertise in journalism and government of our distinguished hosts, Geddy Sveikauskas and Dean Gerry Benjamin.
Questions from the audience will follow.
The lecture hall seats 200. The event is free but due to great interest in the topic we require advanced reservations.
Blocks of tickets will be set aside for students of Dean Benjamin's Local Government Course (providing our venue), Taxnightmare.org signatories,and other tax reform
organizations. We wish to accommodate your group with reserved seats as soon as possible.
